The hunt for dinosaurs begins here! Step into their footprints, hear and feel their footsteps, and come face-to-face with some of the dinosaurs who made them. DinoTracks starts where scientists first began studying dinosaurs (at their feet). Focusing on fossil discoveries, the exhibit engages visitors of all ages in trying out hands-on scientific study methods and getting down on the ground to put their new skills to work. DinoTracks is a please-touch exhibit presented in three languages: English, Spanish and French.

Friday, May 24 - Fishing Lessons With the Jim Lagacy of the Angler’s Education Program Coordinator of Mass Wildlife

If it’s been years since you’ve picked up fishing pole, or have you never had the opportunity to do so, sign up for this free and fun session. You’ll learn how to cast a line and find out about the fish in our waters.  Mass Wildlife’s Angler Education Program is providing a limited quantity of fishing equipment for this event, but if you have your own equipment, please bring it along.

This six-week series of nature classes is designed for young children ages 4 to 5 unaccompanied by a parent. Each week brings a new focus, but we ll always begin indoors with games, activities, or crafts, and then explore the great outdoors on Broad Meadow Brook s clearly marked trails. This is a wonderful opportunity for young children to learn about nature and meet other children, in a safe, caring environment. Monday session. For ages 4 to 5.

Basil Shrimp Pasta


Macaroni Menu

Serves 6   Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
8 oz box of your favorite pasta… I used thin spaghetti. Angel hair would be great too!
1-1/2 cups of cherry tomatoes, halved
3 teaspoons olive oil
1-1/2 lb fresh medium shrimp, peeled, dev-eined and tails removed
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon of Kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons chopped basil
