Peak Fitness Performance Training

October 30, 2015

Congratulations to Kerri S., the winner of a free month at Peak Fitness Performance Training!  Peak Fitness Performance Training located at 712 Plantation Street in Worcester is a complete training company. They offer everything from Boot Camps to Athletic Performance programs for high school and college athletes to one-on-one training and everything in between. All of their programs are designed by licensed Physical Therapists or Physical Therapists Assistants so they take a rehab approach towards working out and getting fit. They will not only get you the beach body you want, but will also make you functionally strong. Their goal is to get you healthy and fit!

Their new Plantation Street location has everything you need for a complete workout program and to celebrate their new location, they are offering a $99 introductory rate for 30 days.  There is no contract required!  This new introductory rate includes unlimited group strength which is their premier program.  It includes a movement and strength screen and based on the results of your screen, you will have a warm up developed specifically for you by trained and licensed physical therapists and certified personal trainers. The program has a strength emphasis focusing on bars, kettlebells and dumbbells with a cardio component at the end to increase your metabolic rate.  Plus, you can take advantage of their unlimited Peak Camp Classes which is included with Peak Strength. These are based on a circuit training format which has a metabolic conditioning/cardio emphasis with a strength component and high-intensity cardio or core finisher.

The group strength classes are offered 58 hours per week and there are 46 hours per week of Peak Camp classes.  Plus, for those busy or working Moms, there are express options as well.  These express options get your workout completed in 30 minutes.  They also have locker rooms with showers so you can get your workout in during your lunch break and get right back to work!

I’ve been attending Peak Fitness for over five years.  They have helped me to achieve my fitness goals and helped me to lose all of my baby weight and then some…..TWICE!  I’m also someone who has suffered with significant knee problems since my high school days, and because there are physical therapists running the program, they are able to help me work around my injury while at the same time still giving me a complete and effective workout.

If you have kids who are high school or college athletes, Peak Fitness also offers Athletic and Sports Performance sessions.  These are 60 minute sessions of training focused on flexibility, agility, power, strength and endurance for off season or pre-season sports. They are designed for performance enhancement and injury prevention.  Their 5 Week intro package begins on October 19th and runs through November 22nd and run Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.  You can sign up for 2x or 3x times a week.
