Worcester Places to Donate Toys & Clothes

Want to donate new or used toys and other kid items? Here's where to do it.

By Noelle Monaghan, Publisher of Macaroni KID Worcester November 1, 2022

If you're looking to declutter your home and give back to your community at the same time, donating new or gently used toys, books, and other children's items is a great way to do it. In the Greater Worcester area, there are a variety of organizations and groups that collect these items year-round, making it easy for you to make a difference. Along with consignment and thrift stores that accept donations, there are several local businesses in the Worcester area that are happy to accept your unwanted items. These businesses range from children's charities and non-profit organizations to local hospitals and shelters, all of which work tirelessly to improve the lives of children in need. Whether you're looking to make a donation during the holiday season or any other time of the year, your generosity will make a big impact on the children in your community. So, take some time to clean out those closets and toy boxes, and know that your donations will be put to good use.

Urban Missionaries

One great way to support the Urban Missionaries is with donations of clothing, household items, furniture, and even bottles and cans. Through donations like these we are able to continue running our retail programs and other charitable programs. You can bring donations directly to the Little Store at 242 Canterbury Street, Worcester, MA. Feel free to load up a truck or car, and bring it right to the door. Our friendly and helpful staff and volunteers will come out to take a look at the donation, and give you a hand bringing it all in. Another way to make donations is to call and schedule a time and date for us to bring our box truck right to your door! We will be happy to drive out for a visit and bring your donations right back to the Little Store. There is a shared maintenance fee for us to bring the box truck to you, depending on the town you live in.
