If you frequent the movies as much as my family and I do, you NEED to get yourself a Starpass! It is a FREE loyalty program for patrons 13 and older and is so easy to join! All you do is ask for your free membership card at the box office and you’re ready to start earning points!
Here’s how it works:
You earn 10 points for every dollar you spend in the theatre and on Movietickets.com. This includes the money you spend on your movie tickets, but also includes the money you spend on concessions! If you have a starpass and purchase your tickets on Movietickets.com, there is NO SERVICE CHARGE. You also get a free popcorn on your birthday and when you’ve accumulated 2,500 points (which really isn’t that tough to do), you achieve Director status which comes with a whole bunch of extra benefits (this Mama just reached my Director’s status last week and let’s just say – FREE REFILLS are now mine!)
You’ll receive exclusive offers and events including email sweepstakes for cool movie prizes, invitations to events, the latest news and updates about upcoming movies and promotions.
So, you trade in your points for rewards and basically you receive a reward every 750 points (or every $75 you spend at the movie theater). At 750 points, you get a free popcorn. At 1,500 points, you receive a free movie ticket, at 2,250 points, you receive a free soft drink and so on and so on!
