Pick Your Own Berry Guide for the Worcester & Beyond Area

The end of school means it’s summer, and one of the many wonderful things to do in summer in the Greater Worcester area is going to pick lots of fresh fruit!  If you’re looking for a Pick-Your-Own Farm, here is a guide to farms in the Worcester, Ma area.  If you know of any others that you would like to have included in this article, please let us know HERE.  Be sure to call the farms before visiting to make sure they have what you are looking for!

1. Douglas Orchard, 36 Locust Street, E. Douglas, MA 01516. Phone: 508- 476-2198, PYO blueberries beginning in mid-July.

2. Fay Mountain Farm, 12 Cemetery Road, Charlton MA 01507. Phone: 508- 248-7237, PYO available for Blueberries, apples, raspberries and Peaches starting in July.

3. Berries and Blooms Farm, 31 South Rd, Holden, MA 01520, 508-829-5494, PYO blueberries.  Call ahead.

4. Meadowbrook Orchards, 209 Chace Hill Road, Sterling, MA 01564, 978-365-7617, from July-Sept blueberry and raspberry picking is available and there is a café for lunch onsite. Closed on Mondays.

5. Derrick Farms, 301 Sanders Road, Oakham, MA 01068. Phone: (508) 882-5591, July blueberry picking.  Call first for availability.

6. Nourse Farm, 70 Nourse St. Westborough, MA 01581. Phone: (508-366-2644), Blueberries, Red Raspberries, Flowers, Pumpkins - Late September- late October, Black Raspberries,
Strawberries, Blueberries, Red currants
