Nathalie, one of our Artivism Teen Leaders, will be hosting a workshop centered around Disability Awareness Inclusion. In this workshop we will explore ways in which we can spread awareness of special education schools and learn how special education students might not have the same opportunities as "normal" public high school or middle school students. Through the lens of Artivism we will learn how art can be an advocacy tool to take charge of unfair situations and as a way to speak up for yourself or others in order to make a big difference for you or the next person. Join us at the Main Library on Saturday, April 22. For ages 12-17.
