Solar Eclipse Viewing at the Worcester Commons

Description

Worcester will experience more that 90% obscuration during the 2024 Solar Eclipse! Meet us in the Worcester Commons to enjoy the excitement of this solar event with your community, who will be gathering on the Common to view the height of the event together (Maximum eclipse expected at 3:28pm) and to receive your own pair of eclipse glasses.* The library will also have a glasses decorating station, lawn games from our Library of Things collection, a bookmobile available for browsing, and more!

*Eclipse glasses supplies are limited and will be available beginning at 2pm in the Common on a first come, first served basis. Must be in-person to receive glasses.

*Seating is limited, lawn chairs are recommended.
