Thanks to support from the McDonough Family Charitable Fund the year is FREE! In partnership with Highland Street Foundation, we are offering FREE Winter Camp on Friday!

An Adventure in Worcester History

Monday February 17- Presidential Scavenger Hunt – 10AM-4PM
Crank up “Hail to the Chief” and call the Secret Service because this President’s Day we have a gallery wide scavenger hunt. All the answers connect back to the many Commanders in Chief and Worcester.


Tuesday, February 18 - History Detective & Self-Guided Tours – 10AM-4PM
The Museum is a treasure trove of history, full of unique artifacts and exhibits from Worcester’s past. But some crucial information has gone missing! Can you help us solve the mystery? Use your detective skills to find the clues.


Wednesday, February 19 – Fuller Fun Guided Tours – 11AM & 1PM
We are going hands on in our newly opened Fuller Gallery of Industrial History. Join us for a special tour where we talk space exploration, toys, and more.


Thursday, February 20 - Kid-size Revolutionary War Tour & Reading of
Paul Revere’s Ride – 1PM & 3PM This event is held at Salisbury Mansion, 40 Highland Street
Join in on the fun for this “kid-size” version of our popular American Revolutionary War tour! Learn about how both the Salisbury family and the city of Worcester were involved in the American Revolution during this fun and engaging tour, along with fun facts how children lived during one of the most important times in American history. Ages 7-14.

Friday, February 21 – Fuller Friday – Highland Street Foundation sponsored “Winter Camp” day at Museum of Worcester – 10AM-4PM
Lots of fun FREE activities, including “Make your own mini trunk” in the spirit of John Hancock and his historic trunk.


Saturday, February 22 – Early Worcester Settlements Lecture – 1PM
Wendy Essery, Library and Archives Manager, discusses the early local settlements, prior to Worcester becoming town in 1772.


Take a roll down our alley in the exhibit “Strikes, Spares & Deadwood: Candlepin Bowling” on exhibit through March 29, 2025. And, visit our newly redesigned Fuller Gallery of Industrial History!

Library: Wednesday through Saturday 10AM-4PM

Salisbury Mansion: Thursday through Saturday 1-4PM
