Easter Bunny Visits
Leading up to the holiday, you may want to bring the kids to visit the Easter Bunny and get your annual picture. Here are some local places you can visit:
Hebert’s Candy Mansion
On Saturday and Sundays leading up to Easter as well as on Good Friday and the day before Easter (April 4th ) from 12:00PM – 4:00PM, the Easter Bunny will be at Heberts Candy Mansion in Shrewsbury visiting with children. It’s free and open to the public (don’t forget your camera), and every child that visits with the Bunny gets a free candy bar! www.hebertcandies.com
Auburn Mall and Solomon Pond Mall
From now through April 4th, kids will have the chance to visit the Bunny and take home a treasured snapshot of the fun occasion! Caring Bunny
On Sunday, March 29th, Caring Bunny will offer families that have children with special needs a subdued environment to participate in the Bunny Photo Experience. Many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for childrens’ cherished visit with the Easter Bunny. Caring Bunny will be available at the Auburn Mall on March 29th from 9:30AM-11:00AM and at the Solomon Pond Mall on March 29th from 8:30AM-10:00AM
Easter Events
If you’re looking for some pre-Easter activities and events to participate in, here are a few options:
Annual Simon Kidgits Club Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, March 28th, Simon Kidgits members can come and have breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Auburn Mall. Don’t worry if you’re not a kidgits member yet, you can sign up for $5 and you’ll be a member for the whole year! There will be various Easter crafts, activities and games. After breakfast, Auburn Mall will host the annual Easter Egg Hunt at select stores.
Hop on In at Texas Roadhouse
On Sunday, March 29th, Texas Roadhouse is partnering with the Shrewsbury Child Development Committee to host an Easter Bunny Breakfast. The breakfast will include photos with the Easter Bunny, goodies for children under age 12 and more! The cost is $10 per person (children under the age of 2 are free) and reservations are required. Easter Egg Hunt at Bemis Nursery
On April 4th, Bemis Farms Nursery in Spencer will hold their 15th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt will be held every half-hour from 9 am until 3 pm and is FREE and open to the public. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for photos and meetings. The event is held rain or shine and you should plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your planned hunt time in order to park and find your starting positions. www.bemisfarmsnursery.com
Easter Brunches
If you’re looking for a place to dine with the family on Easter, here are some options:
Twigs Café at Tower Hill Botanic Garden

Publick House in Sturbridge
The Publick House in Sturbridge will host both an Easter Breakfast Buffet and an Easter Buffet on Sunday, April 5th. The Breakfast Buffet runs from 8:00AM – 10:00AM at a cost of $16.95 for adults and $9.95 for children ages 3-11. The Easter Buffet will run from 10:30AM – 6:30PM at a cost of $34.95 for adults and $14.95 for children ages 3-11.
