I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!! 🍨 To celebrate that summer is finally here, I decided to buy ice cream for the family. Did you hear that Walmart is offering grocery pick up in Worcester? What better way to test out the new Worcester Walmart Grocery Pick Up online service, then to order delicious Unilever ice cream treats and bring them home without having them melt? Thank you Walmart and Unilever for ice cream to my car! My busy family schedule appreciates the convenience you are providing all of us. Without further adieu, here is my review of Walmart online grocery shopping and delicious Unilever ice cream!
To celebrate that summer is finally here, I decided to order ice cream for the family. What better way to test out a grocery service, then to order delicious desserts and bring them home without having them melt? I'll walk you through this very simple ordering process. First, go online to grocery.walmart.com and log into your account (create one if you don't already have one set up). No new account is needed for this service if you already have a regular online Walmart account. Next, add groceries to your cart from the search bar. There is a $30 order minimum for free pickup. Then, add your phone number to get text messages for the status of your order. When you finish your order, they email you a confirmation number and give you a time frame to make changes to your order. Finally, when you leave to drive to the store, check in with the Walmart grocery app to let them know you are on your way, and follow the orange signs to pick up your order. Assistant Manager Trisha happily brought out my ice cream order right away, directly to my car, along with an upgrade for an item that was unavailable, so she gave me the next size up at not extra cost to me. They have multiple parking spaces designated for online grocery delivery orders, which is super helpful. After loading the groceries in my car I signed off on the order and drove home.
As for the ice cream, I ordered New Popsicle® Fruit Pops, Magnum® Mini Double Caramel Ice Cream Bars, Good Humor® ice cream bars in Strawberry and Chocolate, New Breyers® 2 in 1 ice cream (Take Two Vanilla & Chocolate All Natural), and Klondike® Dark Chocolate ice cream bars. You know, the feel good brands from when you were younger! When I got home, all of the ice cream treats were still frozen, even in our recent heat wave. Bonus! I had to test it out, so I tried some ice cream immediately, for the review of course... I highly recommend these brands and this service if you are pressed for time. The Popsicle® Fruit Pops were perfect for my daughter and she was thrilled with her surprise treat. We have tried everything we bought and have been very happy with all of it!
