The City of Worcester is excited to announce the opening of the Worcester Common Oval Public Ice Skating Rink for the 2022-2023 winter season! The Worcester Common Oval has become a staple for family entertainment during the winter months offering. The Oval will be open every Friday from 5-9pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-6pm from November 24, 2022 to February 24, 2022 (weather permitting). General admission is $5.00 per person. Children 5 and under skate free. Skate rentals are available on-site for $5.00 per pair.

The City's 12,000-square-foot rink, which opened in 2012, is 4,000 square feet larger than the rink at New York City's Rockefeller Center. The Oval has piped-in music, skate rentals, concessions, holiday lights and more, making it a fun and affordable family-friendly activity. The rink is professionally managed by SMG, the DCU Center's talented management team.

There is plenty of affordable parking available within walking distance of the Worcester Common Oval, including the underground Worcester Common Garage at 2 Eaton Place, Mercantile Center Parking Garage, Federal Plaza Parking Garage and the Pearl-Elm Parking Garage.
