Spongebob SquarePants (played by Lorenzo Pugliese) is eternally optimistic. He sings about the "Best Day Ever" (by Andy Paley and Tom Kenny) even when faced with the fear that Bikini Bottom is going to be destroyed by Mount Humongous. He never gives up, even when called a simple sponge, and collaborates with his friends to solve the problem in a unique and fun way. Throughout the show, the songs and skilled dancing are a blast to watch and sing along with! My children and I laughed too many times to count. Spongebob SquarePants and Patrick Star (played by Beau Bradshaw) really are BFF's and it shows. The "BFF" musical number by Plain White T's was hilarious, as well as the "Bikini Bottom Boogie" by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith. Squidward Q. Tentacles (played by Cody Cooley) even learns that he has self worth and is valued in the town. His singing and dancing debut in the "I'm Not a Loser" song by They Might Be Giants was fantastic. At the end of the performance, the town comes together after learning a lesson to not turn against each other.
